ClearHistory = 2

Commit the transaction and clear existing undo and redo history.

CreateUnit = 0

Create one undo unit for the transaction.

MergeWithPrevious = 1

Merge the transaction with the preceding compatible undo unit.

PreserveHistory = 3

Commit character, paragraph, or default formatting without recording an undo unit or invalidating undo/redo. Text and semantic changes are rejected. Undo/redo may restore older formatting; applications deriving formatting from content should reapply it after history transitions.
